La Frontera is the best place to get late night carne asada tacos in Phoenix. That’s what I say at least. Not much to see, a food truck with some tables. The magic is inside the truck.

I’ve tried the el pastor tacos and carnitas tacos … they were good but my go to is the carne asada tacos. Four or five of those beauties, some cucumber, a little guacamole sauce, (they give you a spicy red bottle too) and if you ask they will give you a grilled chili to nibble on.

Mexican Coke. Check.

I hear the fish taco truck behind La Frontera is amazing too.
